Volunteer
PTA is an investment in your child. By supporting your school, you strengthen the learning environment and show teachers that their work matters. By advocating on the issues that affect your child, you help create meaningful change at the local, state, and national levels. And by participating in PTA, you contribute to building a stronger, more diverse, and inclusive school community where every family feels welcome.

Volunteering is at the heart of our PTA. There are many opportunities to get involved, and we’re always grateful for extra hands. Whether you’re available during the day, in the evenings, or on weekends, your time and talents make a difference for Southwest Elementary. And remember—you don’t have to be a PTA member to volunteer.
