PTA For Your child

There are a lot of things we don't know about this school year. But no matter how we educate our children this year, the SWES PTA will be here for you and your child. Even if your child is not a SWES student for part or all of this year, you are still welcome to join the PTA.

It’s time now to get back to work for the 2020-2021 school year. Your SWES PTA wants to make it as special and supportive as it can be for you and your student.

As the school year will be different this year, so will the activities of the PTA. We will count on you as members to help us decide where to focus our efforts to best meet today’s needs. 

Southwest Elementary PTA supports critical academic needs, is an active voice on decisions that impact your child’s health, safety and quality of education, and builds a stronger, more inclusive school community.

We invite you to join the PTA to PTA For Your Child. Your membership dollars, remaining after association dues are paid, help fund:

• Learning software, technology, and educational materials
• Art supplies, musical instruments, Physical education needs, and Science instruction supplies
• Fun face to face and distance PTA programming to support parents, teachers and students while building community together, even if we are apart.

There is no wrong or right way to be involved – anything you can give, whether it is time or money (even if that is only the membership fee), will support your child’s potential. We invite you to join because we can do more together than apart. It only takes 5 minutes.
